New Patients at Double Peak Dental
Modern, friendly care for families and busy professionals in San Marcos
If you’re new to Double Peak Dental, welcome. This page walks you through what to expect at your first visit, how scheduling and communication work, and how we make dental care as easy and comfortable as possible for you and your family.
What to know before your first visit
We want your first appointment to feel calm and predictable, not rushed. Below are the key things new patients usually ask about—paperwork, insurance, payments, and how we handle communication and emergencies.
New patient forms
We’ll send your forms digitally before your visit so you can complete them at home. If you prefer, you can also arrive 10–15 minutes early and fill them out in the office.
Insurance & payment options
We’re happy to help you use your dental benefits and will provide clear estimates before any treatment. If you don’t have insurance, we’ll review payment options and any in‑office savings plans available.
What your first visit includes
Most new patient visits include a thorough exam, any necessary X‑rays, and time to talk through your goals and concerns. If you’re in pain, we’ll prioritize getting you comfortable first.
We do not currently offer full-arch (“all-on-X”) implant solutions or IV sedation in our office. If those are needed, we’re happy to coordinate with trusted specialists.
Who we’re a great fit for
We love caring for families, professionals with busy schedules, and anyone who wants a long‑term relationship with a small, attentive dental team.
If you’ve had a bad experience in the past or feel anxious about dental care, let us know. We’ll move at your pace, explain everything clearly, and never pressure you into treatment you don’t want.
What to expect at your first appointment
Step 1: Welcome and review
We’ll greet you, confirm your medical history and goals, and answer any immediate questions. If you completed forms online, we’ll review them together.
Step 2: Exam, X‑rays, and cleaning (when appropriate)
We’ll take any needed X‑rays, perform a thorough exam, and complete a cleaning when it makes sense for your situation. If you’re here for a specific concern, we’ll focus there first.
Step 3: Personalized plan and next steps
We’ll walk you through what we see, share options in plain language, and prioritize what truly needs attention. You’ll leave with a clear plan and no surprises.
